The project exists only as a high-profile announcement at this stage. The proposed business model, mirroring NFL Rivals, is a positive sign. It focuses on the ownership and trading of desirable, licensed NFTs rather than on an inflationary play-to-earn token, which suggests a more sustainable 'play-and-own' economy. The power of the FIFA license will undoubtedly attract a massive user base, which is crucial for a player-driven trading economy. Ultimately, the risk here is not that FIFA Rivals is a scam, but one of execution and information. The world-class team and IP are immense green flags. However, the complete lack of technical and economic details forces a 'moderate' risk rating.
